Superficial Fascia in the Medial Knee
Movie for broad-band (300kbps)
Patient position: supine with knee
extended.
Apply the base of the Kinesio Tex to
the posterior aspect of the medial
femoral condyle.
Stabilize the base of the Kinesio Tex
and apply downward pressure to
increase tissue tension.
Maximally flex the knee to increase
tissue tension.
Apply the most superior tail over the
superior border of the patella with
tape off tension.
Apply the next two tails equidistant
from each other over the middle of the
patella.
Apply the most inferior tail along the
inferior border of the patella.
