SVC-400 Technical Course
for LNG Carriers
SVC-400 Marine automation system
Objective
Give the participants basic knowledge of the SVC-400
system: hardware design, location of hardware com-
ponents, use of the system in fault nding, and main-
tenance of the system.
Teaching method
The teaching will be presented in a combination of
theoretical lessons and practical exercises.The focus
will be on hardware module descriptions, cabling of
loop typicals and conguration of I/O cards.
During the course each paraticipant will be using a
stand-alone operator station. A lab with hardware com-
ponents will be used for practical exercises.
Target audience
Electronics technicians, electricians and maintenance
personnel onboard.
Teaching medium
The course documentation is written in English and
the course will be held in English unless otherwise
agreed.

Cancellation more than four (4) weeks before starting
date of course: None
Cancellation from two (2) to four (4) weeks before
starting date of course: 50% of course price
Cancellation less than two (2) weeks before starting
date of course: 100% of course price
